Severe turbulence struck the Singapore-bound Boeing 777-300ER, resulting in the tragic death of one passenger mid-air and injuring nearly 50 others, including two crew members and a toddler. Over 20 individuals sustained spinal injuries, with more than 20 admitted to intensive care. The aircraft made an emergency landing in Bangkok at 15:45 local time (08:45 GMT), diverting from its original course. Smitivej Hospital in Bangkok reported treating 104 people, with 58 remaining hospitalized, 20 of whom are in intensive care. Among them, 15 Britons are still receiving treatment, with six in critical condition.
