Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on Western leaders to pressure Russia into peace using “all means” necessary.
Speaking in Spain, Zelensky emphasized the need for “tangible coercion of Russia,” which he accused of seeking to “destroy Ukraine and move on.”
Zelensky has consistently stated that he will not negotiate with Russia directly until Moscow’s forces withdraw from all Ukrainian territory, including Crimea.
His plea comes as Russia gains ground against Ukraine, which is grappling with a shortage of Western-supplied weapons.
