Trump Lawyer Attacks Stormy Daniels’ Credibility in Fiery Cross-Examination at Hush-Money Trial

Tensions flared as Susan Necheles, representing former President Trump, questioned Stormy Daniels during a heated cross-examination in New York. At times, the exchange turned into a shouting match.

Necheles pressed Daniels on her feelings toward Trump, to which she responded affirmatively, acknowledging her dislike for the former president. The trial revolves around Trump’s alleged payment of $130,000 in hush money to Daniels, aimed at concealing their purported sexual encounter.

In her defense strategy, Necheles sought to portray Daniels as motivated by animosity and financial gain. Trump maintains that the encounter never transpired.

The confrontation between the two women intensified as Necheles accused Daniels of attempting to extort Trump through the hush-money agreement. Daniels vehemently denied the accusation.

The crux of the trial rests on Daniels’ claim that she received payment from Trump’s personal lawyer in exchange for her silence regarding their alleged sexual liaison a decade prior. Trump has pleaded not guilty to charges of falsifying business records related to the payment.

During earlier questioning by the prosecution, Daniels provided detailed accounts of her alleged encounters with Trump, albeit facing reprimands from the judge for lengthy responses.

Tensions escalated further as objections flew from both sides, with the judge often siding with the defense. However, as the proceedings continued, objections to Necheles’ questions were also upheld by the court.
