This Afternoon: Partly cloudy in Northern Ireland and eastern Scotland, mostly cloudy in the south and southeast. Generally sunny elsewhere. Dry and warm for many, with gentle winds.

Tonight: Much of central and southern England, as well as far northwestern Scotland, will experience areas of cloud. A few showers will develop in the Western Isles. Elsewhere, it will be a clear night.

Monday

Tomorrow: Expect a mix of sunshine and cloud. The best of the sunshine will be in southern Scotland-northern England and far southern England. Showers are expected in the far northwest. It will be very warm or hot.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday

Tuesday: The north will be cloudy with showery spells of rain. The south will be brighter and drier, very warm, and hot in the southeast.

Wednesday: Northern areas will remain cloudy but will be drier with just the odd shower possible. The south and east will be drier and brighter, continuing very warm or hot.

Thursday: Unsettled in the northwest, drier in the south and east.
